Steep Turns B737

This video goes over the steep turns maneuver that you will be doing in the simulator.
Two items will help you in performing this maneuver:
1- Power setting, start with 71% N1 although many of the instructors recommend 10% of whatever the auto throttle is using. For me, 71% works fine and during the maneuver, a small adjustment may be needed.
2- Pitch attitude half of the box up in the attitude indicator is a good starting point and then half of the box movement up or down will give you a shallow climb or descend less than 500fpm which is great in a steep turn.
Finally, brief the PM to call for you 30,20,10 degrees to roll out that will help you in rolling out of the steep turn.
