T bolt clamps are better than gear clamps as you have said. Also would an aftermarket backup camera meant for pickups work for you when trying trying to hook up the trailer. You won't need to jump in and out of the cab as much.

I really like the look of those stainless t-bolt clamps. Since you have "gobbs" of them, can I assume there is a place where you can buy in bulk for a cheaper price? (Unrelated: how many cats to you travel with?)

We traveled with 2 in the summer. You can buy gobs of t bolt clamps on fleabay.

@@SeanFillner Water Hose clamps to shelter building and more. It will tighten a wire into a great emergency clamp.

Hi Sean, I would have a good solution for your tailgate then you can break down the rubber band. From the boat accessories you could grow closures, looks good and are made of stainless steel. If you could give me an email, I'll send you some photos. I come from Germany
