Another Super Thanks for you Abel. A little muddy under foot mate and I imagine not the most pleasant camp for you, although you are in your element when the weather is at its worst. 4 cheeseburgers mate. I don't think even in my younger days that I could compete with you. It was so good to see and hear Victoria on the video after such a long absence. She is positively glowing in her pregnancy. Just a few weeks to go and your whole life will change. For the better I might add. Sons are great but daughters wrap their Dads around their little finger. And we wouldn't have it any other way. Great camp Abel and I'm not even mentioning your cup of tea. Looking forward to the next one.

Carry an earth clamp and an earth rod, and connect the clam to the rod when you have driven it into the ground outside the tent, and run the clamp from the rod to the stove inside. That chimney will make a fine lightning rod if you do not keep it discharged.

I really love to catch each of your videos as they come out. I do have a suggestion for you, when you think it's going be real wet or muddy you should put a layer of soft branches or brush down before your bedding. Trust me, it'll save you lots of misery. I hope it all works out better next time. I was very happy to see your wife. Even though she wasn't camping with you it was nice to see her. Hopefully her and the baby can do a short camp with you soon.

Great to see Victoria!! Thanks for grinding through that campsite!!

That’s glamping compared to the summer and school break camping our family of four did in the 1960s and 70s, almost always enroute to some educational destination. Our tent was made of Army canvas which leaked at the seams, it always rained or sleeted, our sleeping bags got soaked and never dried out, and we didn’t have in-tent heat. Gortex, Velcro, and polar fleece hadn’t been invented. I don’t even remember raincoats or bug spray. With the exception of all the earwigs at daybreak, it was so much fun. Mom made fabulous shrimp curry with rice and beans and franks in a cast iron pan on a pit fire, and we inhaled the ocean breezes or forest clearing air.

It's rough being in the mud. Everything is a mess but despite that, it was still a great camp! It was great to see Victoria! I know she is ready to welcome your new baby. Being pregnant is a wildly wonderful thing, where you're most glad to see the end of as you grow more and more uncomfortable. I love watching Xander, Max, and Lost Lakes as well. Canada has more extreme temps. Maybe one day, you guys can do a collaboration. I see you guys trying a hot tent and hoping it isn't too hot. New Zealand seems fairly mild. I suppose if you go further South your temps will get colder. I saw Tony go to Mt. Cook he nearly got snowed in. Excellent camp, I think you should make your tea the way you like to drink it and other people should do the same.
