I watched someone analyse our good start and the tactics and what they pointed out about playing our style meant lots of energy with two 33 year old players in midfield and getting hit on the break with all our players in a group as one in attack as well as defending. They also said our keeper was in every top 3 saves per game average like 1 on 1s which was helping us win and it wasn’t going to last once teams started figuring it out. Jimmy needs his kind of players to play his way.

I agree almost entirely with what you say Ally. The reasons for the players concerned not being up to scratch must be corrected as all the good work of our tremendous start will have been for nothing.

Ruby was all other the place and Nielsen is a player that needs space and time and in Scotland you don’t get time. When that goal for 1-1 went in, the way it did and so soon the whole stadium felt it as did the players and I just hope we can get through this spell and bounce back. Polvara and Keskinen were the only players I would give any credit to. It’s seems players have other things on their minds too.

I feel there is no marking being done and the space teams players get around our box Is shocking and has been even on the run we had, 11 players around the 6 yard box and still have players lining up unmarked for two or all goals yesterday. The run stopped the manager trying different things and now we need to do something different.

Great show Ally. Andrews stats were very revealing and some good insights along the way. I would agree about Ruby he makes me nervous watching him play. Slightly down after the last few games but staying realistic as to our current achievements, we still have a log way to go. 👍🏻

That ball was pinged in flat and quick 80 yards by the hibs gk wasn’t a big high punt didn’t give Ruby time to come from rcb to win a header played into the lcb area of pitch I agree with what your saying but it happened so quickly the cb swapping positions wasn’t on

I was at the two games this season with hibs, they find it so easy to score against us but this time they were gifted with 3 goals instead of the stupid one at Easter road in the last moment of the game. Hibs look so weak at the back but pressed us into mistakes which were aplenty, and the usual hoof ball that rips our defence apart. The defensive side is a mess and we are struggling to get the momentum in games like we did earlier this year. It was nearly identical to the hearts game here except hibs took the chances and we look lost after leading.

Players drifting out of position, is this a lack of awareness, lack of comprehension and where is the issue best addressed with the coaching or players? The zonal marking has been hampering things in my opinion, even games we scraped a win earlier on we had a few scares. One issue Aberdeen have faced and the other teams haven’t all been affected as much by is the injuries to crucial players at critical times. I agree we need to look at allowing the older players get some rest and also we need to have more of our successful youth players get game time and force their way into the senior squad as it may fire a rocket and encourage established players to up their game!

Why is Duk not our main striker? Palaversa should replace Neilsen and MacDonald replace Ruby. We defo need 2 x 1st team players in Jan, one being a CB.

It's going to get worse long before it gets better. We've fallen off a cliff. 📉 The amazing start to the season with so many close victories clearly papered over some enormous cracks. At least Jimmy T won't be going anywhere. #DebbieDowner 😔
