I don't understand the GA on ATS because most of the pro's use modified controller's anyway's that utilise back buttons/paddles instead of using a stock controller 80% of them would be absolute ass without back button's yet they GA ATS.

Not sure you can call paddles a modded controller anymore since the manufacturer sells the controllers with paddles. Also, you could get these pros to play on legacy southpaw, flipped controls, no paddles and they would still piss slam you. They know where you are spawning before you even die. They know the micro timing it will take for you to reach a pinch point off of spawn.

You don’t have to activate regular sprint and it’s one less input for tax sprint but the biggest advantage is sprinting out of a slide by moving left stick without having to click single sprint frame perfect which is a huge skill gap in movement from my experience. I can’t do the jump shot out of slide Omni directionally more than 25% of the time but with sprint assist I can do it like 65%

I’ve never understood this double tap, single tap, and ATS debate about it taking more or less skill! I’m no where near as good as the pros but I’ve been Crim 3 or higher in the last 3 games in ranked and iri in Warzone and I’ve used all three settings and the only time it feel like it makes any difference at all is playing Warzone! The only time the ATS seems like it makes any difference difference in MP ranked is if you are someone who snakes all the time, but if they have GA’d snaking then I don’t see why single tap or ATS shouldn’t be that big of a deal! As someone who only plays 2 to 3 hours a day and it primarily being Warzone now I can say it’s also saved me from ruining the left stick on my controllers every few months

Maybe pros are different but for me switching between ATS and double tap to sprint takes quite a bit of practice to adjust to. It isn't smart to use something that you won't be able to use in a LAN environment in my opinion. You're already putting yourself and your team at a disadvantage by not being able to use something that you're used to.

you can definitely tell when you have ATS on. You don't get a certain animation with your weapon (gun going completely horizontal) . If you play the game you know what i'm referencing.

Formal’s new Halo squad is RIDICULOUS and should run the table pretty easily.
