This channel with all the fantastic audiobooks on it is a real gem. I like to put one on when I lay down to go to sleep and it’s just like having dad read me a book when I was small and I love it to bits

Having always been a voracious reader, and finding less and less time or inclination to read, audio books have been a great boon for a few years now. Finding these, particularly Clue, Ghostbusters, and The Ghost and The Darkness; all being, still, favorite films and your ( the reader ) casual style has made for a bloody good time in audiobook land in recent times. Cheer's.🐊

Thanks again for another brilliant reading John! I totally understand the frustration of not quite knowing what the correct pronunciation is but also not wanting to ruin the flow of the book.

"An unfamiliar bu appetizing new taste." I call BS on that. Not only are lions natural predators of humans (both species originating from Africa), but the Arabic slave trade caravans would often toss dying slaves to the sides of the road; easy picking for predators, and it had gone on for around 1,000 years by the time the British put a stop to it. The lions in Tsavo were well-acquainted with the taste of human flesh.

I view this "anti-colonialism" fad as both stupid and insincere moralizing. After all, we don't harp on the Italians for having colonized Britain now, do we?
