Beautiful interview ...I liked the whole concept of going around JNU and omg *HE WAS SENT TO TIHAR JAIL OMG* ... and yes I want to read both the books authored by our very own multi talented Nobel Laureate...so down to earth ,humble and whoa WHAT A CHEF and he does love cooking and thus breaking all the stereotypes ! Love his humility and he does spend quality time with his children also .. cooking for 2 hours with them wow ! Family bonding ritual ... so beautiful ...

12:33 "I would value the country doing well over particular political biases of mine getting favoured". A great comment for us to remember when, for example, we are tempted to make party political comments rather than than discussing what is good for the country.

You cant win a Nobel on writing a book on cooking though hahahaha INDIA TODAY TEAM IS THE BEST MEDIA WE HAVE!!!! THANK YOU RAHUL JI FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL CONCEPT OF JNU WALK AROUND INTERVIEW ,Showcasing his culinary talents and also revealing things that no one would have known until it was brought up here in this episode... I just unwind watching India Today videos on KZbin... being a mainstream media you are also active on KZbin is pretty commendable

I think the correct term for the reason of economic slow down would be the demolishing of small business( so many domestic companies shut down), so the money stopped rotating. People are buing from malls, consuming more foreign staffs. Big business tycoons are not allowing to rotate the money, they are just getting richer.

What a sad that mischievous politicians of WB have already started abusing the genius like that of earlier they had done with another great Amartya Sen.Simple reason is that both of them opposed to demonetization. More the matter of sad that managed media agents of the State r dancing on the toes of these political mischiefs.

I think there should be an understanding to make all educational Institutions free of politics . Many students from simple families simply want to have a peaceful and fulfilling education . Politics in campus hampers all this . I tell this to all political parties !

you have a great man like Banerjee to ask important decisive questions and what do you do? try to stir up the political debate by asking meaningless questions which makes more sense in politics than in helping the economy. Shame on you. You have been doing this in previous important interviews as well. Hope you find more meaning in your job than swimming in dirty politics
