If you still do not believe im giving you example; 1- there are so many Muslim,christian,sikh,jain,budh, minorities colleges where seats are 50% reserved for them and given at low fees and low marks while others(hindus) are given at high fees and high marks. For example; 1)AMU(muslim) 2) Deccan medical college hyderabad (muslim) 3) Christian medical college( vellore and ludhiana). christian 4) Sgrd amritsar (SIKH minority) and many more in tens or hundreds in other states. 5) hamdard instititute,Delhi( Muslim minority) I know because i will not get these good colleges just because of religion even after scoring higher marks than minorities.

The problem is that the reach of this video is limited to only educated persons of the particular minorities. The minority people who are living in slums or 'bastis' would never realise the first class treatment they are being provided in this country. There are genuinely serious ideological issues and inless they are addressed, you cannot say things were hunky dory. The historical injusticess need to be addressed and justice given. Communities need to start behaving like adults and not children throwin tantrums or asking favors or playing victim card till detah. Do you have any answer as to why the Muslim population has grown exponentially in the past 20 years in a Hindu majority country but why the Hindu population is reduced to a single digit number in Muslim majority countries? I am never bought into the conspiracy theory that Modi planned the Gujarat riots, a lot happened spontaneously after the burning of the train. However, I don't think Modi felt much grief for the muslim victims of the riots, I don't think he is a touchy feely kind of person. Perhaps India is really good for minorities, but there are issues, for example the "hindutva pop" in UP full of disgusting lyrics that incites violence. A blatant disregard of our current social situation and ignorance to the fact that majoritarianism is hurting the very core of our social contracts with the minority communities by Mr. Chavda is deeply worrying. He has a huge audience and is a prominent public intellectual but still has certainly failed to recognise the degradation of India’s Constitutional framework and the constant targeting of Muslims by groups like the VHP and Bajrang Dal. Talking about minorities and leaving out the growing levels of intolerance in our society is not something to be applauded.

By listening to people I have met from Indian from all religious backgrounds, I have observed that people from india identify themselves as Indian first and rarely mention their religion. I read Salman Rushdie said something very similar as well, may even be a video of him saying it. That to me reads like a success of a secular country.
