Question is after 10k booking, what will be the price increase? I think Punch EV will lead the chart if launched with Tiago like features and price.

@@amolgargote Tata will see the response and the volume of bookings they get for Tiago. If they get a large volume, then they might extend the 8.5 lakh price till next update. If volumes are medium, they might increase price by 50K. The Punch EV will come around 2024 with larger battery and many features at 12L to compete with other new EVs from competition. That is my guess. Let's see.

Congrats Abhishek , I envy you. I was planning to buy the nexon prime XM in Jan2023 but my budget is little bit tight, will decide between nexon ev and the new tiago ev or the tigor ev. I just bought my first electric scooter which is the ola S1 pro and I love it. The Cons are that the nearest showroom is about 145 kilometers from my place i.e Guwahati.

Tiago EV launched with 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh version. The prices begin from 8.49 Lakh and go upto 11.79 Lakh ex showroom. On road prices are 8.96 Lakh to 12.5 Lakh in Kolkata i checked.

Globally now we get two choices in charging cables - both have the same circular cross-section but the difference is - 1) a 5 metre lie flat cable 2) an 8 metre spring coiled cable What would you prefer for typical Indian conditions and for yourself? Personally, I would prefer the 8 metre spring coiled cable (as used for the Nissan Leaf and also as used on generic specific purpose EVs on ships) in Indian conditions as it does not rest on the ground while charging and also stores better. But what we receive from TaTa Motors is the 5 metre lie flat cable. PlugIn and your thoughts please?

One suggestion to the plugin India team, please do not conduct interviews in the setup that was showcased here, our traffic and road conditions are treacherous, please avoid this. Wishing the best. I think Tiago EV now is a bomb package for what it offers.

Congratulations. I also almost decided to buy Tigor EV, but then in one test drive checked it with two suitcases in the boot -- and the space is so small (with a spare wheel at the side and no parcel tray design) I couldn't fit in the larger bag alone. So, went ahead and booked Nexon EV.

Old nexon ev or prime me kya difference he?

They upgraded old Nexon EV for free to prime by adding Cruise Control and 4 level Regen, TPMS low tire pressure alert and Zconnect Phone / smartwatch connectivity. New Nexons are called Nexon EV Prime. Old Nexons get a free software update at dealership to get these features and become prime 😀

I quite like the idea of a Punch EV! I thought the next EV would be the Punch and not the Tiago, in fact. Tata has no official news yet, but it may be just a matter of time.
