Abi Carter was the most deserving winner in years and years. American Idol is a classic show-one of the most successful tv shows ever. HUGE stars came from this show, the biggest being Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson. All the guy winners seem to disappear for the most part. Finally, America got it right, and Abi will be a vast, Grammy-winning success like the other top AI success stories of all time. Her voice is flawless.

I've watched Idol for many years, since the beginning in fact, and Abi is definitely one of the most deserving winners I've seen. Some winners go on to great success; others moderate success (and a few disappear). I think we're going to be hearing a lot about this girl, she is special. Her modesty is endearing and I hope she never loses that quality.
