On his chapters 1-8 when Ren felt well enough to start living again in mid to late 20's he said the girls started showing him attention, he said it was because he was a musician (why the girls found him attractive) and he LOVED being around the pretty girls. He couldn't get enough of them (to be fair his girlfriend had broken up with him). He was known as the slut around the area and was talking about a threesome (him and two ladies) so he isn't settling down with any one lady anytime soon. He explains that he loves the girlfriends he was with, but can't get attached because he has so many health issues and emotional attachment issues.
