My heart absolutely shatters for you. I was only taking it for two weeks. I couldn’t sleep for four days. All it did was make me have seizures when I would try to sleep.

I stopped my abilify 6 months ago. I did tapper off but it didn’t help a lot. I went through absolutely horrific panic attacks and depression. I’m still trying to deal with it. It got bit better after 6 months but it’s definitely not over. So much pain! I was binge eating at night wile on it and had carb and sugar cravings which I couldn’t control. I gained 80lb over the years I was on it. I tried to get off of it many times but when got depressed went back. I’m going for TMS consultation this week. I pray the god that it will help!

I quit Abilify cold turkey on January 27th, 2017 and regret not tapering it down. Started on it in 2009, was up to 15mg for the last 6 years. Was causing me uncontrollable urges to gamble and binging on stuff. About 10 weeks after I quit, I was out of it and entered psychosis which lasted over a year. Please never quit cold turkey, whatever the dosage.

@@vikrantthakur5504 No, I had no other episodes before that. I was put on Abilify as a stabilizer for BP2. That was a bad idea!

@@Ash-qh5og Got prescribed Seroquel and other similar drugs of same class. I didn't want to take weight gaining meds, but it was hard not to.

try velerian root ..its a herb supplment..also saint John's wort and ashwganada helps too all herb supplements.. I had to drink black coffee and honey raw sugar with oat milk while withdrawing..wish I had have been strait into herbs tho

Valerian root helps the anxiety a ton, but I heard it can be additive with withdrawal symptoms. I'll try the black coffee and oat milk. What were ur symptoms? and how long did take to go away?

i'm sébastien from france i can't undrestand what you tell us ,how long was the duration of your withdraxal with abilify ??? i started it 4 years ago with 15 mg daily ,after two cold turkey in 2018 i be crazy with psychos , now i taper off slowly (15mg in august) and just 5 mg since april 1 2019 without withdrawals symptoms

I stopped abilify over a year ago and I still can't fall asleap without Parkinson meds. After laying down for 5 minutes my legs start getting a borderline painful case of rls or akathisia. I think this is gonna be a life long thing at this point.

i start to loss gain with 5 mg ,with 15 mg i hited 123.5 kg for 184 cm my normal weight is 100 kg ,but since i'm with 5 mg i less hungry (2100 calories daily without problem) vs 2600 calories with 15mg i weight 119 kg now , i sure according this that weight gain is dependant of doses of abilify

Hi were you on an injection? I've been off the injection for 2 months and it's still in my system. I think and hope there is only one month to go.

ssri can do a maniac symdrom ! if you are bipolar or try to taper off your antipsychotic

manage a toper for minimum 7/8 months or more , i my case = 2 years

Don't go to the doctors for help, find another way, unfortunately when you want to get off they will encourage you to have another medication, you are now in their control, stop taking the shit and seek council from someone that wont drug you. Go and see a psychologist they don't have the permission to hand out scripts. OMG they are in your house... to late...

And you would be wrong. There are MANY who have gone through horrific withdrawals from this drug.

@@juliecrisante1309 I took it for 6 months then lost my insurance I never felt withdrawal symptoms at all but I'm not saying you're lying and I'm not saying that there isn't any withdrawal anymore if you say there is I'm sure there is if you have the time can you describe your withdrawal symptoms

@@chadpittman3025 you are EXTREMELY fortunate. I’ve found many stories online of people who have had horrible withdrawals. Just read the comments on her other videos. Right now it feels too personal to go into but I’m recovering from after 3 months, it was terrible…
