Really clear video. I'm completely new at this. But....once the bobbin was dropped in, there was no instruction about what to do with the thread and suddenly the cover was back on with no explination. Where does that thread from underneath go?.

Dear Abi, thank you soooo much for the demonstration on how to use this machine, it helped me enormously. I would like also to ask if you could make a video on how to sew circles, curves and corners, as I im new with sewing and having tremendous dificulties with that specially the stiching foot that I can not see where the needle is pointing to and and having difficulties in keeping the needle dow when its to rotate da fabric with needle down as this is a mecanical and not digital machine, it becomes harder to perform that step. Heya, I'm very new to sewing and this is my first machine. Does this have an option to position the needle left and right? I notice it will only move either side when doing the button hole.

You can use stitches 9 10 and 11 to help you position off centre.

Hopefully the timing isn’t out. If it doesn’t catch the thread underneath. Check your needle is in fully x

@@AbisDen yes it picks up the thread and the needle is right up I've changed the needle a few times thinking something wrong the groove is at the front I am a machinist but this machine as got me baffled it not mine I'm trying to sort it out for my friend thankyou margaret

It may pick up the thread, if you sew a zigzag and it doesn’t stitch, timing is definitely out
