Hey, thanks for these!! By the way, the third story sounds old, so I reckon the puppy is running off with the candles because they're made of tallow (rendered animal fat)! Wax is a more recent candle material - in scandinavian folklore, there are 13 pranksters called the yule lads - one of them is known to go around stealing candles so he can have a snack!

"Skittles" was a word used for a game that is pritty much like bowling and the candles part the reson why the dog kept stealing the candles is becouse they used to create candles out of tallow fat a long time ago.
