I can’t stop watching this video, I keep trying to understand it, like from what I understand it’s the devil being angry at god for creating him to be evil. The snake is the devil. You can see that with the white illustrations there’s a person, Eve and what seems to be some kind of plant, the forbidden fruit. The part where it goes “god no no god” shows the snake deteriorate like it is being punished by god, it’s creator. Then “and I can take my mind and I’ll be fine” it shows the snake with its top head off, where it’s brain is. It wants to be dead, there’s also parts where it’s hinting that the snake wants arms, shown with marks where arms would be, like arms were purposely taken away just like god made Satan to be evil, shifting gods own blame on another force, because of this the snake would want to be dead because it’s blamed for all evil. It tries to shift blame on someone else (the person supposed to be eve) but it ends up making him look worse.

Uh, god didnt create satan to be evil.Satan was just upset that he wasnt like the angels so he had an arguement with god and god threw him out of heaven.OR maybe this isnt satan and the snake is just upset he doesnt have arms

Satan was not created evil. I do not see the hatred or guilt aspect within the character. In the beginning of the video, his expression goes from confident he can (sin) 0:00, to melancholy and contemplating if he can (sin) (they express this through the dilated pupils and a frown) 0:05, to this ungodly, almost relieved reassurance that he can 0:09. To which then he gets Eve (represented by what I believe to be the bunny prey, and the half-faced human in the other picture which I feel is drawn such way because of Adam AND Eve being the first of the human species, so Eve is half of the humans.) To turn to evil and eating the forbidden fruit of knowledge. I understand that in one part of the video, there's (Eve) standing behind him with arms, to which then moves away. I saw this as almost him loosing his virtue, not necessarily just his arms. He lost his mark of holiness. The arms are very symbolistic. Although, after, he does not once look particularly upset. He almost looks relieved at 0:10 The rest of the video I kind of interpret as Satan deteriorating into the pattern of Sin, becoming and earning his title, which is represented FROM the shot of him deteriorating. The part where the snake, seemingly Satan, has manifested this monstrosity of a human (I think to be Eve), represents how his sin and unholy guidance ruins humans, from the very beginning. Throughout the entire second part of the video, the snake never looks saddened. Instead, he's smiling throughout all the corruption, even though his eyes might look tired towards the end of the video.

This eel dude simultaneously fills me with utter dread and strange curiosity/ fascination to the point where I've watched this five times in a row just so I can continue to look at his twisted yet undeniable interesting design. All of your monsters and characters are like this, and it's the same with the rest of your animations! I keep seeing people say that your art style is Tim Burton-esque and I couldn’t disagree more, his style is more gaunt scrawny faces or exaggerated features. Ya know I saw everyone giving their interpretations and while my interpretation isn’t full, it does kinda fit with the imagery we’re given in my opinion. (Also I know there’s probably a lot more to this story now that 3 years have passed, and it’s probably pointless making a theory about it, and it’s probably really cool and unique and ends making a butt load of sense in the end, but this video has me scared thinking that if I do go in and look for more lore, I’ll end up no being able to sleep tonight, so let’s just PRETEND this is all we’re given, ok? Ok.) So in my interpretation of this, the Serpent isn’t really evil or anything like that, but instead not only likes the other characters shown here, but he actually enjoys their company. In a world that doesn’t have room for a person like him, he’s essentially become a Hikikomori, staying in his living space wasting away with his brother. He’s a character with no arms forced to live among people who are physically more capable than him, and having people around him who treat him somewhat like a normal person feels nice to him. They try to make him feel better by pretending like he has arms, and he might even have a cute little thing going on with one of them if the (what I assume is) mistletoe is anything to go by. However…after awhile they seem to be taking quite a fair amount of time between visits. The serpent brushes it off, tryna pass it off as them getting stuck in traffic, and despite his family’s desperate attempts, can’t get him out of his room, as he’s convinced his friends will come back, and won’t leave till they do. During the duration of about 6 months, he stays in that room, with his only source of food being things around him being himself. Now NORMALLY one would agree this would be a stupid idea to turn to first, but I have an idea for this seen below. If ya down wanna here it, skip to the paragraph after it. (Before we move on, I feel it’s important to point out how I think the serpent’s anatomy works. They work kinda like a parasite, where they can take over other creatures bodies, but only when their body is in a critical state, and doesn’t have much life left in it. This ability is a power lost to time, and these creatures, having become friendlier, have forgotten how to do it. However, possibly as a result of instinct, when left in the hands of a dangerous character, the serpents will begin damaging itself. While they don’t usually know what they’re doing, under the right circumstances, the body can force the ability, and essentially force the creature in a new state of mind. The knife in their mouths are just their tongues that they use to impale prey, making it easier to neutralize enemies once they are in their possession, but realistically putting their head back too far could end up causing permanent damage to, or killing, the serpent.) After awhile, and by awhile I mean a whole year, a delivery man is instructed to go into the house and deliver the package. Finally, a day after this, one of his shows up, having forgotten about him, and wanting to see if he’s ok. He had remembered who he was after hearing news of a noise complaint coming from that exact house. They had rallied up everyone else who were friends of the serpent, and they all went inside to what they expected to be a warm welcome. Instead what they got was a decrepit old home with furniture ripped up, knocked over, and doors broken down. They consider leaving thinking they might’ve moved, but one reassures them that he’s there by saying, “There has to atleast be someone here, otherwise that noise complaints wasn’t real, and sense multiple people heard it, that had to have been true!” With that indisputable rebuttal, they all agree to keep looking. They all walk down the halls of the home, admiring the photos, vases, and all the other stuff that have been ruined throughout the home, until they get near what is their friends room. They go inside to great him, but then, they finally see it. Their old friend hunched over what looked to be his brothers corpse, in the middle of crunching down on the head. After finishing it, he stands up, giving is a better look at the body he’s obtained, and it’s the delivery man from the day before. He had been called to that area for the explicit purpose of giving him a body. The serpent turns around and sees his friends. His face turns to shock, and he starts running towards them, and his friends attempt to guard themselves, only to realize that he had actually run straight past them, and was heading for the basement. They corner him there, and they try explaining that it doesn’t matter what happened to him, and that as long as he lets them, they are all willing to still be friends with him. The serpent, giving a final grin, opens his mouth, revealing the knife, but starts going even further. When one of his friends finally realizes what he’s doing, they run towards him, yelling at him to stop, but then, *”SNAP”* his head finally rips off, as his body falls. Ok I know that ending might’ve felt rushed but I’m really tired. Any thoughts before I knock myself out cold?

I don't know why but I can't stop watching...I love this character I love the animation I love this character so much I have so many theories on what happened to him. like one of them is he used to be a normal human but died but after some time scientists took his remaining body parts and replaced his head with a big Viper Dogfish that they found when switching the dead mans brain and putting it into the Viper Dogfishes head and doing some stuff they were able to bring this monster to life....but before they did they gave it something that will make it immortal so that they can keep doing tests on him and that he can take the worst beatings without dying agian
