@@Busiless had it going for the first time while I was watching your tutorial. I think it's amazing. Simple to use, complex in sound... Exactly the way a synthesizer should be :)

So how is Drift better than Analog synth? Def not hearing anything groundbreaking in Drift.
@Busiless
@Busiless Жыл бұрын
The main difference is that it is free in all versions of Ableton, including the Intro version so now much more users will be able to work with it. It is probably not excelling in anything in particular but it is very versatile: it is simple, it has a subtractive synthesis and some basics of FM synthesis. So I feel that it is like a very stripped down combination of Analog + Operator. Plus it has that drift dial which is just cool (Sure you can emulate it with some lfo's or external plugins, but it is there) :) So as you've mentioned, nothing ground breaking, but it is a nice one to be able to use if you want to quickly find a sound :) What's your favourite synth?

You should maybe amend the video to reflect how many people have been affected negatively by the upgrade to 11.3. Completely destroyed my system and reddit deffo corroborates such. DO NOT upgrade until they fix this.
@Busiless
@Busiless Жыл бұрын
Hi. Yes I have heard about it a bit but luckily not everyone was affected and I personally wasn't affected too. I guess it depends what was on your project file. Wish I could amend it but can't really do that without deleting the vid. Tell me what happened exactly So I can maybe do a bit more research and write a post about it or even make a short video to warn others. Thanks for watching and for the warning! All the best and I hope you'll get back on track in no time!
