You can only use 8 tracks but if you use drum racks(which can contain audio & midi sounds/effects) and instrument racks (which you can use a single sound/one-shot) to create chord/synth progressions. Also simpler will be your best friend if you prefer to chop/slice/reverse any samples

Just spent a solid hour and a half going through this video, taking notes, and experimenting with it. You don't know how much I mean it when I say this video helped me!! Could never figure out the whole layout with other videos- So yours, with the commands on screen and with the example song walkthrough, super super helped me~! Yeah, using AI to generate the actual 'music' immediately pushes one out of being a musician and artist into the realm of ... not even really a producer, just a computer monkey. I want to see someone add their own melody and chords, then do all the parameter settings and eq'ing etc.

Thank you for your video; I learned much from it. I'm wondering if you have specified a setting that I haven't. Or likely it is because I have a Logitech Track ball mouse and it behaves differently than your mouse. I am using the latest Lite version of Ableton. You said to shift scroll wheel to move left and right, and to control scroll wheel to zoom in and out. However whether I hold down shift or control (on Windows), the scrolling of my mouse wheel does not behave any different. Rolling the track ball "left and right" does move the time line left and right. Rolling the track ball "up and down" zooms in and out. But again, holding down shift or Control does not change the behavior. Please advise if I am not doing something right.

In Ableton all of the plugins just show up as black boxes at the bottom and you can't click on or just anything, do you know how to fix this? I've been wanting to record stuff for a year and haven't been able to.
