Ableton Live Tutorials: Importing Samples into Sampler

This video finally clarified to me the differences between sampling with simpler, drum rack or sampler. I feel relieved that I can now choose the right method for the right circumstance, based on actual knowledge instead of wild guessing.

Thanks again. I will continue to work with Sampler now to learn the musical possibilities. One problem: I am using a pc. Not sure if this is the reason, but I could not drag the samples to my desktop folder. I could drag the Sampler itself, which did save the file, but not also a folder of the samples. Thoughts?

I literally bought Sampler strictly for the looping function so I could hold notes indefinitely to essentially mimic real instruments, only to find out there are no warping options. That is the dumbest thing ever -_-
