Mistake: You confused people with ABC-SSS situation. These, aka Netherlands Antilles, have the six-star flag from 1959 until 1986. Aruba gained sovereignty in 1986. Because of this, the Antilles used the five-star flag from 1986 until the dissolution in 2010, where all the islands now got their own separate official flag. Second: You neglect French Polynesia, which stuck at the old inverted French color. Needless I to remind you, the official flag in every French overseas (French Guiana, French Polynesia, and Wallis and Futuna) are French flags (with an exception of Martinique).
