I just think they add a cap and some gaskets and a other finish. And by the whay you are welcome in the new Assa-Abloy Fan Group m.facebook.com/groups/185966355145977

01:24 says "...string attachment." I think typo meant to say "spring attachment" as cap is indeed attached to a spring! 🙃💨😑💨😄

Anyway, proud owner Abloy PL362 Protec2. Sits on my table as Object D'Art.😎

The Geezer same for me. Excerpt mine isn’t Protec 2. Just a regular 362, I don’t have anything to lock up. Haha

@@EricPetersen2922 The standard Protec is still a strong cylinder, very hard to pick.

The Geezer thanks for the info. I really like the lock, it’s truly amazing quality. Solid!

@@EricPetersen2922 Hello...think I've found a fellow padlock lover here...My names Vince in the UK btw, Let me Br@G about my collection. I like to fit different cylinders into some of my padlocks too. I have the incredible Abus 83CS/80 Rock with Abloy Novel cylinder (padlock body in Hammerite green, all lettering unpainted) Abus Granit 37RK/80, Kasp 19070XD, Kasp 19070X (keyed alike with Yale *** Superior dimple-pin cylinders) 2 x Abloy PL362 Protec 2, Abloy PL350 Protec 2, Squire SS80CS and the worlds strongest _fuck-off_ padlock the mighty Squire SS100CS. However, Eric, both my Squires have standard cylinders.🙁 I'd love to swap-out for Evva ICS patented kik-cylinders but they're £47.50 each and I'll need two of them!! I managed to SPP (single pin pick) one side and I'm an amateur, so I wasn't too happy and really do need to swap em out. Anyway, I do admire my Abloys, these are super-hard, super-tough and nice to hold and caress in my hand too...lol. 😁 Abloy's are practically made to military spec armour plate being impervious to all forms of attack plus their 15mm Boron Carbide shackles and disc detainer cylinder locks make life hard for criminals. Only angle grinders or oxy-acetylene torches can compromise but they can cut an Abrams tank up so....yeah okay! Everyday stuff (crow-bars-hacksaws-sledgehammers-chisels-hammers-jemmys-freezing gas-blow-torches and bolt croppers) won't touch an Abloy PL362 and they are impossible to pick. _HuxleyPig69_ (lock expert) did apparently pick a PL350 but only after ten years of research and made his own disc detainer lock-pick! I would love an Abloy PL358 to round off my Abloy collection but this one is hard to find, and for the right money!😎😍
