Wonderful to see what an effort is being put into reproducing the Beatles' rhythm section. The individual parts couldn't be simpler, which means the energy of the song lies in the vocal and harmonies. The blending of John, Paul and George's voices was unique and incomparable. Listen to " This Boy, " as an example of their three part harmony. As a musician, I have always thought that all four of them, taken individually, were competent but not extraordinary players. The magic manifested itself when their voices and instruments were combined. Then, they became... The Beatles.

He didn't get the Rickenbacker 425 until September, when he visited the US. "I Wanna Hold Your Hand", "This Boy", and the first Beatles Christmas record were recorded October 17, 1963. It was also their first 4-track recording session.

I've heard this claim before. What I heard was George Martin got John's guitar tone so thick by layering Hammond organ over his part, including playing the 5th to the 6th rock&roll rhythm. There are 4 tracks of isolated tracks and I do not hear it on any of those four tracks personally

There is one small part that was missed. It's a single note played by George at 1:52 in the original version. It sounds like a faint tire squeal. It's so fast most people don't realize it's there, but it is. Great job on the recreation, love it!

Interesting, I listened to the isolated George track and didn't hear anything new. Just the three bends on the G string at fret 5 and the fourth note on the 3rd fret. Didn't hear and tire squeal sounds. Could be something from another track

Those drums sound really good... I would not notice the difference if I did not know. You really have the early Ringo down... the wild almost-closed hi-hat sound. I have the Rock Band stems and have been playing your cover against the isolated vocal track and it sounds really nice.

On the Beatles recording Lennon is clearly playing an open Em chord and B7 in the first position, on the verses.

He plays the low E as an open note, the rest is at the 7th position the same way he does it on The Ed Sullivan show, both performances. The multi-tracks for the studio recording exist for this one, its on Track 3. As further proof, listen to 0:33, lennon over shoots and plays an F. You can hear it on the final master as well, but is much easier to hear on Track 3
