As another blast from the 70s 80s do you remember Shelley, where the main character on moving in strips off the wallpaper to make the property worse to reduce the "fair rent" The problems in the UK housing sector are largely caused by the planning laws but blaming landlords gets more votes

So really 🤔 is the UK government going to buy all BLT landlords and give them to the local councils or Housing Associations in social housing 🏡? Hardly possible as councils going bankrupt up and down the country. The guy doesn’t understand supply and demand. This small country doesn’t have enough land to build enough housing using normal housing. Instead the Government needs to make these housing supply not take the legal and legitimate business of supplying as the Government has given up or destroyed the opportunity for local authorities to supply the vital needs of UK residents period.

Councils can't afford to keep running ATM let alone buy up properties . And in the past council run and owned properties didn't work that's why they sold Thier properties . Investors have raised the economy and helped fund people's retirements etc all less burdening the state . Bank wants to burden the state buy getting councils to house more immigrants .. hes living in cookoo land and needs to get out of the past and it not the future .
