8:21 NO WAY! I'm in a DanOttowa video 😄 I really really appreciate the feedback, even if that wasnt the case. It was the first team I tried in this season, since I opened pvpoke and saw that those 3 pokemon are top meta, but I didnt research anything about the matchups, I wanted to just play. I didnt know marowak could do so much dmg, and by the time I understanded it, i hoped they would no shield an EQ 😂 I've played and did my research on the meta way more since then, so I'm considering if I should sent any of my battles now, Im around 2000-2100 elo, Thanks again, and keep those videos coming!

New shadow Pokemon are dropped what are your thoughts on them (shadow primeape or shadow annihilape) Again removal of frustration via TMs is coming. Perhaps it deserve a video

Kanto Ninetails, that's a given. "Always a winner, but shadow..." I'm new to Pokemon Go, so I'll come back to this. "Best Kanto Grass type." I wish I could say Victreebel or Exeggcutor, because I have both of these Pokemon, but this is obviously Venusaur; Frenzy Plant is just such a great charge move and I wish I get to use it one day. Let's revisit "Always a winner, but shadow." This rules out non-shadows (not that that rules out much, since most of Kanto has Shadow Pokemon, apparently). You also dropped another hint earlier, where you claimed that Guzzlord is a Corebreaker for your team, so this "always a winner" is probably weak to Guzzlord... ... Tbh, I didn't even know Guzzlord was a Pokemon until a week ago, but out of the Kanto Pokemon I've seen in PvP, I think Slowbro, Alakazam, Gengar, Hypno, Dragonair. ... "Always a winner." This must mean that this is also a consistent performer... I'm going to rule out Alakazam and Gengar/Haunter, because I've never seen an Alakazam, and the only Gengar I've seen is my own, which is rather glassy. ... I haven't seen a Slowbro outside of one or two Psychic Cup games. I probably have seen the same amount of Hypnos... But I have definitely seen more Dragonairs than the previous two. That mono-Dragon typing gives it the same resistances as Goodra... Although, I guess it could be a Dragonite? But I haven't seen a Dragonite in Great League yet (in my admittedly limited experience with this game). ... ... I don't know if my logic holds up, but I think I really just want to see a Dragonair, and this bias is influencing my thinking. I'm locking my answer in: Ninetails, Venusaur, and Shadow Dragonair.

That's funny I was already thinking Abomasnow was gonna be awesome in this meta. I was thinking about running it with Jumpluff as a SS and idk what to lead with it yet lol

Hmmm i do have a couple abomasnow. IVs are better for ultra league rather than GL, but i could power one up to 1500 to try out along the way to 2500 CP. Looks like a fun pokemon to use.

Hey dan and thanks for the showcase. It was early in the season so I believe I was experimenting a bit just to see what marowak could do when I do some weird plays. The one where I didnt throw a move vs feraligatr with dunsparce I believe Niantic screwed me over 😂

@@ACCEED三銃士 normal gastrodon don't have the same fast move pressure and I like the coverage better on marowak. So not a fan of gastrodon personally.

I don’t get how this team is even remotely functional. There’s so much that exists right now that absolutely dumps on all 3 team members, I don’t understand how you weren’t RPS’d into oblivion with this team. The wins you got were absolutely nutty cuz you were never truly hard answered. I don’t get why or how you get to avoid everybody that would eat your team for breakfast

Gbl is not always about building a balanced team. Sometimes I try to build against what pokemon that are common. But yeah as I said wasn't to sold on having dunsparce on the team. To much trouble vs chesnaugt and double fighter background.

Having rock and ground moveset types is effective against a lot of the top meta that are weak to ground and/or rock moves. Edit: Not to mention him having ice and grass move sets that are also effective against a lot of the meta. This is actually a pretty well built team due to the current top meta, but it can change if various pokemon and/or movesets get buffed or nerfed. That’s one majorly important aspect of PvP that I’ve learned since I’ve started playing.

@@ACCEED三銃士 one talonflame absolutely destroys this whole team. The only answer to talon is dunsparce, if you see it on the lead good luck getting the alignment you need… Talonflame are very common still

@@PaulwardP a bit. It tends to work pretty well. Clod opening, Sgator safe swap and Shadow champ closer. I don't have many other meta mons from after the buffs and nerfs outside of Malamar. I'd use it and Azumarill but I don't have a grass in the back

@@PaulwardP ahah ok. It does work pretty well. I did try Malamar and it works well with it. I just need to improve my counting moves game. I consistently get 3/5 but I'd like to improve to 4/5 average
