Zack when you're the hulk, see that green bar underneath your health, when it's full hold R2 while you attack. It'll give you a boost until the bar depletes. But you have to hold it in while you attack. When it depletes just beat people up to raise the bar again. Save it for stronger enemies. Also when you have better gear available go into the gear menu. It says hold L2 to automatically equip best gear.
