Hello sir I'm 38 with some disabilities issues who keep me from time to time from moving too much around, just got into knife throwing cause... It seems relaxing and also needs good coordinations between your head and muscles movements. I get the corny comments, humor and I'm fine with it. Everyone deal with his life differently I used to be an alpine chasseur/mountain squad maybe is the correct English translation ?) in another life 6 years ago if you can believe it. Then well, life changes in all kind of ways , you have to found new things to challenge yourself with the limitations you're have. Glad I found your comment, and everyone who read this follow your passions or desires. No matter what people think of it. ✌️

Danish law says, no blade over 7 cm, no lock, only folding and must not be able to open with one hand. But you can carry beers in bottles and as many, as you can handle. Who wouldn't prefere a 5 cm locked blade in the gut to two smashed bottles in the face.. And you can have all the screw drivers and other functionable tools all over your house, so there are always ways to have fun, if you want to.

It depends on the person ,practice an patience learn to rid your mind of negativity. dont get upset with yourself. Remember half the battle is a mind fuck. You want to develop no minded throwing which is its own skill in it self. Also don't advance to quickly or it will take longer.. leaning how to hold a knife for no spin can be tricky I was 5 yrs old when I learned of no spin it was long time to learn to throw ten ft with 11 in throwing spike life is crazy that over 35 yrs ago now lol

The longest recorded combat kill with a thrown knife was 87 feet, across a snowfield with a bayonet. WWII by a native American soldier by the name of Skeeter Vaughan aka Grey Otter. my throw is different for almost every knife i think. i have a generic one that i use to try and throw all sorts of stupid crap though. learning to throw a baseball bat like a knife is what improved me i think though. every knife felt a lot easier after throwing the baseball bat for two weeks. i actually never once got it to stick, but by the time i was good enough to guarantee the business end struck my target, swords and machetes and everything just want to fly on their own it seems like. i think it's probably more difficult to do a good throw with a really lightweight knife without a few throw-away tries. for me anyway.
