Thanks. It's a Durabrand. It only has a compsite video/audio in and headphone out: no HDMI.

No. The arm is made of EMT conduit, which is a metal pipe used primarily for electrical installation. I chose it because it is cheap (about US$12.00 for a ten-foot piece), and it is widely available (at most hardware stores). Fencing tube is pretty much the same thing.

@AtlantaTerry I never pushed it to it's limits but it handled my Canon XH-A1 (5.3 lbs or 2.4 kgs) pretty well.

I dismantled that controller because the movements weren't smooth enough. I will probably make a different one. If I do, I will make a tutorial.

@AtlantaTerry I haven't tested to see, but it supported my Canon XH-A1 (5.3lbs) easily.

@brobillntexas Hey Bill, Thanks for checking out my videos I went ahead and got a direct link for you. I think the smaller the wire the better. I try to stick to 150lb capacity or above. Good luck with your project and be sure to upload a video of the finished product. God bless. mcmaster.com/#wire-rope/=8u2ldy
