I've looked at AP818 and this is textbook. Thanks for going to the effort of making the video!

in this case you set off on the right foot, think of the pace as a unbreakable chain, left right left right etc, on the last part of the movement you move your left leg last so you have to set off on your right foot. the turn is meant to be completed in the same time it would take to march 3 paces forward

It should be given on the right with a check pace then round

one thing is for sure, there is going to be bell to pay on that right knee in the future,,; TLV worked perfectly well.

@jamiekieranjukes9 жыл бұрын
Shouldnt the right heel go in to the inside of the left foot
@Jeemus.11 жыл бұрын
If you have a look through ap818 you will find this is perfectly correct.

Wrong, he done three stomps or whatever you call them your supposed to do two on the right and two on the other direction.
@jamesgame40010 жыл бұрын
T, L, V???
@woho7777711 жыл бұрын
Might be different for air cadets but it army and police it's not like that.

What exactly is wrong?
@davidkelly417110 жыл бұрын
The first move should be the left foot forming a T with the right foot, not a pivot
@goproclips10 жыл бұрын
T,L,V Is not used. There is a pivot on the right foot.
@Travis-jb9zx2 жыл бұрын

@fearnraymond160010 жыл бұрын
There's a difference between air cadet drill and army cadet drill, we always have the command given on the left foot for this movement.
@chloecoffeydecafe109310 жыл бұрын
We have it on right as then u can't have check pace round
@fearnraymond160010 жыл бұрын
That is what what do I'm afraid, it's set out that way in our drill manual, which is an adaptation of the RAF drill and ceremonial manual

I'm an ex Guardsman and all I have to say about this video is .... HAHA HAHA HAHA HAHA 😂😂
@meganevans142611 жыл бұрын
Good grief. I was a Cadet for six years and I spent time in the Canadian Forces. THIS IS INCORRECT. Check, In, Pivot, Pivot, Left, Right, Left! The "In" step is NOT a stomp. Then again... no one has really clarified, and it's hard to tell since the uniforms are so similar. WHERE is this? Is this in the UK, or is it Canada?
@PureZOOKS11 жыл бұрын
This is UK ATC following the current Drill and Ceremonial manual AP818. This video is very much correct.

Very good to know! I think most of these comments (like mine) were so volatile because they weren't sure where this is from.
