by the way im picking #2 traditional, nidan pattern and gin rin. a show quality goshiki in my opinion.

Honestly, all three. They are different enough that they look amazing together. I don’t know how to choose yet, this is all so new and incredible to me. Each one is a work of art 😍

For this particular variety I would choose based on how pretty the fish looks to me , rather than following guidelines :) The three are however all beautiful fish ;) It really is impressive how much you know about koi....as always thank you for sharing :)

Ah yes 😊 it is the video I have been waiting patiently for. 😊 As for me, I like them all, I do not mind wether it is a classic or a modern Goshiki so long as the patterns are in the correct places. I do like that they remind me of Kohaku. 20:00 I prefer number One & number Three. The Two Goshiki I have that I told you about, they are not as high quality as the Three you showed, but I still like them very much. I should share them in a video. Honest answer, i think mainly because the word 'Koi' is in it. And because some brands are inported probably in lower volumes from other countries

For now I think #2 ginrin goshiki is my favorite but I think in the future #1 would probably look the best. I personally love the dark classic goshiki because on goshiki the area where the red meets the black looks really sharp, almost like 3D so the contrast between the red and darker color is really cool. But I also don’t like the small black spots in the red so I can’t really win there😅😂

Dark classic is great indeed when the red and black have sharp lines! Some Goshiki can also have that little white space in between the red and black, also looks very good. But will be very expensive if you can find one... I'll show in the next video what my favourites are 👍

Hello sir. Its out of topic. What is kuroko? Why they do it?

Hi there. Kuroko is the process of selecting the Koi out that do not have a black base. For example for Showa variety. Showa have a black base, so as very tiny young Koi that are around 4-5 days old only the ones with a black base will be picked out. The white ones won't be picked out, since these do not meet the criteria to have a black base colour.

That might be true, let's see in the next video ;). 2 is a nice elegant more simplistic Goshiki, looks very good. Yes for sure I do take body posture into account. I've made a video before where I explain which aspects I look for regarding body posture. In some guides I also go in more detail to discuss the body differences for the Koi I have in the bowl.
