Inga, in my experience, if you want a more "airy" ciabatta, the dough needs to be more hydrated. Also, I suggest to make the folds on a surface (you can use a metal scraper to help you), as it's easier and you are gonna be more precise. When I used to make ciabattas, the dough was a lot more sticky and I used rice flour when it was time to cut it (because it didn't add any more gluten).

As someone who’s never watched Spongebob, I always assumed by the name, that a Krabby Patty, was a CRAB Patty………which now that I think about it, would be a little traumatising for a kids show about under sea animals lol. So it was a revelation to find out it’s a beef patty instead!🤷♀️ (logic aside anyway!😂🤷♀️👍🏻)

You can also skip the water and cook your bacon in the oven at 325F and it will be crispy and perfect without having to sit and watch it the whole time.

Something important I think people should know when making burgers. You do not want to mix your salt into the ground beef before making the patty, it gives it more of a meatloaf texture than you want. Burger should be formed and then seasoned liberally on the outside of the patty.

adding water helps cook the bacon without browning it too quickly. once all the water cooks off, you can cook the bacon to crisp more easily

There’s a trick to making perfect breakfast sandwich eggs. You actually want to break the yolk softly on one side and drag it out to fill the white as much as possible, and then flip it for a few seconds. It does cook faster but you can get the gooey center without the yolk burst when you squish the bread.
