What lessons from Abraham's life stood out to you? It would be great to hear more perspectives.

Our small group really enjoyed the character studies when we did them. The lives of these saints are so interesting.

I find that “comfort” is often our American idol. It is not the love of money but the love of comfort. I have been convicted in this personally.

Thank you, Brother, I needed to hear all of this, and it set me back on a great path with my relationship with our Father! I needed to hear that sometimes even if we don't want to talk to someone about a problem, that maybe God put us specifically in that position to do so because we are the ones who can deliver His message the right way. That is going to help me with a relationship problem in my marriage. I also loved the part about putting others first to find joy, instead of just always trying to find joy doing whatever we want to please ourselves. I am a nanny and I love my job so much, no matter what troubles I go through, or sad moods I find myself in, my job of caring for children and putting them first brings me so much joy and peace, and I am so thankful that God put me on this path! This was a wonderful video, I listened to it while I cooked a big breakfast for my family. I feel very inspired, today. Thank you so much for your channel. I will check out your website for the book companion about the character studies! Praying for your family from Seattle, WA. Have a great rest of the day!!!

Thank you for the message of encouragement! Wow, while cooking breakfast! We appreciate your prayers very much. What is outside one person's comfort zone is well within someone else's. But God's grace is sufficient for our weaknesses. I hope your conversation with this individual will go well.

What about the families who can't cook breakfast? Shall we give god a big hand for making that happen?

Character study of a fictional character. Give yourself a sticker.
