Its amazing that with all those percussive attacks, slaps and flamencoes at lightning speed how each note rings out so clear like a bell, the marks of a true legend.

This man is a treasure for the Christian Musicians in the world. He is respected in both Christian and Commercial music circles.... I had chance to attend one of this bass clinic back in the mid 90's at Anaheim Vineyard Church. He hardly spoke about bass technic, but more about your passion for music and give Glory to God.

I have been tracking Abraham Loboriel since the early 80's as a member of the Koinonia band. Honestly, he's the greatest bassist of all times. That's the truth. I have seen them all and heard the all...he's simply the grandmaster. Period. Take it or leave it. That's the fact. Also he loves God with all his heart and it shows in his music.

for those who don't know him: Abraham Laboriel, Sr. (born July 17, 1947) is a Mexican bassist of Garifuna descent who has played on over 4,000 recordings and soundtracks. Guitar Player Magazine described him as "the most widely used session bassist of our time". Laboriel is the father of drummer Abe Laboriel Jr. and of producer, songwriter, and film composer Mateo Laboriel. and more from wiki. 4000 recordings? WOW!
