Why is nobody talking about how amazing those two singing Japanese guys were?????? That was pretty damn good
@englishatheart2 жыл бұрын
First, can people please stop posting these type of comments? You are talking about it. It literally does not matter if anyone else is. Asking ridiculous questions to get attention and validation gets old fast. Second, they didn't sound great to me. Had to skip over that part.
@colonelpopcorn77022 жыл бұрын
@@englishatheart Lmaoooooo who's asking ridiculous questions to get attention and validation now? This was six months ago, but I believe I wrote this comment because I was watching the video, was genuinely impressed by these guys' singing ability, went down to the comments, and was genuinely, truly surprised that I couldn't find any comments close to the top of people talking about these guys singing, so I posted a comment to that effect, as I thought their singing deserved recognition and appreciation. I must confess, however, that I only have a decade of primary and secondary school choir experience under my belt, and I lack the more formal vocal training that you must possess to think they were poor enough singers that you had to skip over the part of them singing. Ah, or you might have perfect pitch, in which case I will absolutely defer to your judgement. I would be extremely impressed if those guys were singing in tune entirely off the cuff without a starting pitch, and if they were out of tune, their singing certainly would have been difficult to sit through for someone with perfect pitch. Thank you for demonstrating the power of taking a minute to consider the possible backgrounds from which someone on the internet is saying something. When I initially read your reply, I thought your comment on their singing abilities was merely bait or some other form of trolling, but people are, of course, more complicated than that if one only takes the time to to understand them. Also, though I'm not sure if this is something you took issue with, I think it is generally understood that the "nobody" in "why is nobody talking about" is hyperbolic, though that might only be clear to me. Whatever cultural differences we possess might make that not clear to you. I suppose I should more directly respond to your accusation that I was posting this in an attempt to get attention or validation. I was not, though I do not know how to convince you of this. I get quite enough attention and validation from my friends and family on a daily basis, though I thank you for your concern for some random person on the internet.

Hey Chris, your youtube channel is top shelf. You keep the authenticity and purity without it getting boring!! I come from Belgium and at the age of 21 I decided to go to Australia... Despite the fact that this was breathtaking in terms of nature, lovely people and the possibility of adventure, there was a great lack of culture, which is normal in a country that is still under construction and is relatively new. This loss was made up for by traveling to Japan with the money I earned during my working holiday. Of all the Asian countries I've been to, Japan really stood out. I was lucky enough to enjoy the hospitality of the most helpful and unselfish people. Tradition is honored and the food is out of this world... from having robata grilled king crab at Tsukiji to butter-tender wagyu on the teppanyaki to a sashimi and sake tasting in a tiny restaurant in one of the narrow streets of imperial Kyoto, I couldn't get enough of it ... That's why it feels strange as a young traveler with a Burgundian lifestyle to hear a statement in which you associate light with Belgian beer. For a top youtuber who provides his videos with professional research and the necessary portion of humor I think that "light" is not really the appropriate word to describe or generalize Belgian beer culture. I don't feel offended, on the contrary, this is an invitation which will make it possible to change your mind. When the borders open and it is possible to travel again, I would love to invite you to visit a few of the more than 200 breweries and taste the most distinctive beers with a typical Belgian dish (made with far too little butter). See you soon and arigatō for this amazing content!! Keep on rocking

I am surprised the Sapporo crows didn't come in and break up that pigeon gathering like that, I have witnessed that before in Sapporo in Odori Park. I know Japan has a crow problem, but I don't know if anywhere else has it as bad as they do in Sapporo or not. I've been there 6 times and I am still amazed by it, from the city to the top of the foot hills they own it. Been to parks where I watched crows chase eagles out of there, where there are so many in the trees you can hear them but you can barely see them. Watched them chase garbage trucks on garbage day hopping in and out of the garbage trucks. Can't tell you how many times at like 4 am downtown Sapporo Susukino area getting woken up to the crows calling out to each other from on top of the buildings. Heaven forbid you leave a bag of garbage not covered or locked up, the crows will just destroy it leaving garbage all over the streets. Despite all of that, I love the crows there..haha

i dunno what to say. i never had belgian beer. what are the famous brands that i could (probably not) find in jakarta, out of all places?
@raiyamato3 жыл бұрын
@@Wolvenworks I think the most commonly exported belgian beers are 'Stella Artois' and 'Leffe'. Maybe if you're lucky and find a specialist shop or something international (let's say duty free at an airport) you might also come across 'La Chouffe'. 'Duvel' was mentioned in a comment above yours and that's another classic belgian beer, but I would be very surprised if you found it before any of these other ones. Good luck looking for these in Jakarta! PS An interesting fact about belgian beers. Nearly every belgian beer has it's own unqiue glass to drink from. Probably the most interesting one is for the beer 'Kwak'

@raiyamato "Interesting" indeed! First time I had one, I almost flooded my face with beer when I lifted the glass to finish it.
@mugwump70493 жыл бұрын
@Warlight You could try finding some in the bars listed in this article: www.flokq.com/blog/craft-beer-places-jakarta At the very least, they mention that Beer Garden has Hoegaarden, which is a light Belgian white beer traditionally served with orange juice & peel.

I lived in Sapporo 30 odd years ago. Hasn't changed much. I remember Sapporo beer used to have igloos in the park where you could eat bbq and drink beer all night inside the igloo with up to 6 friends. Coming from Australia Sapporo was just a magical winter wonderland. Teams used to come from all over the world to compete in ice sculpting comps. Some ice sculptures were 3 stories high. Great times. Love watching these videos.
