I really hope you decide not to delist the dr jelly video. I think keeping the full series up even if some episodes aren't as good is important.
@CDBIII10 ай бұрын
Agreed. I know it messes with his analytics (there needs to be some kind of way to “delist” it from that without taking it away completely); but that’s going to be super annoying on an OCD level, lmao. Ironically, I won’t name which one but a more recent(ish) episode was much more bland and “worthy” of pulling the plug on than the one with Joey. I don’t ever feel like I waste my time with AIJ content, but that particular one… oof, I actually felt like I wanted my wasted time back on as it was so incredibly boring and pointless.

I'm an ethically Chinese American, but have lived my life in the US. My interactions with people that have come from China here has massively conflicted with what I was taught in school. Family that have immigrated here compared to those that are born and raised here, tend to be far louder and obnoxious so I can agree with the general consensus that Chinese tourists from the country is not truly indicative of everyone, but it does show how little people from China regard others.

The weakness of Biden only encourages the likes of Xi, Putin, Kim and the mullahs in Tehran.

Really hope that Journey Across Japan episode isn't delisted tbh. I know Chris is an absolute fanatic about quality but part of what makes those trips so enjoyable to watch is how unpredictable and spontaneous they can be. Hell I know some people haven't been keen on just how slick the recent trips have started to feel and have seen many accusations of them being completely staged and scripted, so I genuinely think having episodes where things don't go to plan is important to break that illusion. It was part of the journey and it should stand.

There are a lot of horror stories about Chinese tourists acting like cavemen. I heard it got so bad that the government started sending pamphlets on how to act to Chinese citizens planning on visiting a foreign country. There's even Chinese who are embarrassed by the behaviour of those tourists. But the bigger issue is the political issues between China vs Japan. We might actually say the issues expand to China vs all of East and Southeast Asia. It's funny how China's arrogance and bullying behaviour is what is making the rest of the region finally willing to cooperate with Japan after all these decades since WW2. 30 years ago, it seemed impossible that South Korea and Vietnam would be willing to have relations with Japan.
@Stephen-up3sd10 ай бұрын
I am reasonably well travelled, particularly in Asia - I have seen Chinese tourists spitting and their children openly urinating and defecating in public - not behavior likely to endear them to the locals! Speaking to hotel and restaurant owners in Japan, many have told me they detest the Chinese and don’t want them in their establishments. The problem is that the authorities introduce rules that target all tourists, rather than those actually causing the problem.

I believe root beer was originally derived from sassafras, which was thought to be a treatment for syphilis. The current versions don't have real sassafras but have imitation sassafras flavoring. Barqs also has caffeine whereas A &W does not. A & W also is made to creamy and have a hint of vanilla.

Tbh, neighboring countries around China like at least some of Southeast Asia dislike China for various reasons (i.e. territorial disputes, resources, other politics). It's not considered out-of-place in my country that we sometimes get news of Chinese ships shooing away local boats despite being well within the legal zone of our country.
