We don't have an electricity nor a TV back when I was a kid. My family would usually eat dinner before TV Patrol so that we can go directly to our neighbor's house and watch with them. For years, I spent my entire childhood sneaking from our house to go to our neighbor and watch ABS-CBN (from cartoons, to series, to news etc.,) When we got hit by Typhoon Yolanda in Leyte, the network was ardent in their commitment to help. Different personalities in the network especially in the field of news inspired me to work in the media industry and be a broadcast journalist someday. This is not the end ABS-CBN. Millions of Filipinos are behind you for your good causes.

I feel you sobra, they have my most cherished childhood shows like mighty morphen power rangers, the sineskwela, Wansapanataym, Hiraya Manawari at Bayani. Nakikipanood din ako sa kapitbahay kasi wla kming tv that was way back 1993 noong mag kakuryente na sa wakas ang probinsya namin. I have watch the channel feature Thalia's visit and was welcome by then Pre. Fidel V. Ramos so much to remember at sa kanila rin ako nag abot ng donasyon para sa bagyong Yolanda. Even though I hate some of the Artists of ABS for some reasons,and although I seldom watch tv,and I didn't watch ABS as well 'cause I am loyal to the other network but the moment they bid goodbye on air I felt a sudden sadness and emptiness.I wished for them to operate again.I symphathize to their unemployed thousands of workers .And even to all their avid viewers.Celebrating at their downfall is a bit inhumane. Hopefully that they could still resolve their issues, and authorities will reconsider their request.Admit it or not ABS's closures is a big loss to the industry.I sincerely pray for them to overcome this crisis although I can't guarantee to watch any of their programs if ever.It's ironic,but,still I cheers and I'll keep on cheering them silently.ABS fighting!

I don't watch much of local TV anymore since I got in high school and when I did, it was only ABS-CBN and Studio 23 Kabarkada mo! because of Myx. The idea of something saying good bye from which has been a part of my childhood is heartbreaking; almost same as the feeling of someone dying. I will remember every trademark ABS-CBN has left like the voice of Gus Abelgas, Ernie Baron of weather forecast, Charo of MMK, Sineskwela, Matanglawin, Rated K, and those cartoons and anime that were aired like Heidi and Princess Sarah. I will miss everything. I must say this network has been a part of my life and has contributed a lot in my childhood. Thank you ABS-CBN for your service and entertainment. I'll surely miss you. NGL ABS-CBN was my childhood from the days, They were the kindest company in the whole world. No offense but what GMA does is to just make news more than happines. Its like they're a strict company and the artists aren't well-known. Although GMA has been here for 71 years (Since its 2021), But ABS-CBN worked hard for people to smile. Their channels were so popular in the days, Their artists are a DOZENS. Even the kids from the channel are teens now. I'm starting to feel like GMA gets the throne of the less popularity. Sometimes GMA's channels have nothing for me to watch with, Its just a bunch of news, But Heart Of Asia and Hallypop were a bit popular. For my opinion, ABS-CBN deserves to come back to bring happines to others and to STOP THEIR BASHERS FROM HATING THEM!
