I found this video a little late.. like 2 years late lol. But i'm in an ABSN program and I was accepted straight from high school, didn't need a previous bachelor's. I think more ABSNs are changing to accept people without a previous bachelor's.

Yes this is true. I'm 32 years old and applying to GCU with no previous bachelor's. They are accepting me into the ABSN program. A few years back they did seem to require it. I guess things changed after covid.

I am going into the accelerated program as a senior in College because my school allows us to transfer in if we have the pre-reqs and grades done by junior year.-but I was wondering if you thought it was possible to go out on the weekends occasionally (seeing as it is my senior year) i keep telling myself that if i work hard enough i will be able to but dont want to mislead myself early on lol

Great question Clara, Based on my personal experience, I have pretty much gone out and do minor traveling every single weekend. I also go to the gym 4-5 times a week while in the program as well. Not only that, I would go out after class a lot of times too. Now going out for me did not involve going out and staying up late, it meant visiting family in different cities, visiting malls, going on dates, ect. But the trick I have learned from this is that, frequency of studying, spaced apart made the difference in allowing me to go have some fun. For example, if were going out shopping, I would bring a specific topic that I wanted to study and frequently look at the notes while I was walking around the mall. Spacing studying out into chunks is MUCH more effective for me. Sorry for the long response, but do not worry about it! Set yourself up with a PLAN. set yourself up with GOALS. Just doing that already puts you ahead of the curve (Lots of research backs me up on that one). And last but not least, Make sure you are getting sleep. Cannot tell you how important that is. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for your video, but what if I have already finished my bachelor degree and left university? Where can I take the extra prerequisite class in order to get into an ABSN program?
@fitnursety33396 жыл бұрын
Great question! Usually there are community colleges or universities in general near you that have those pre reqs for you to take. I know there are plenty of online classes you could take as well. Just make sure you ask the school your applying to if they accept that class/credits from that college.

Which one paid more salary after completion of ABSN or traditional BSN ?

Both result in a BSN, there shouldn't be a difference in pay starting.
