Kingdom Come: Deliverance takes place in the early 15th century, in the Kingdom of Bohemia, part of the Bohemian Crown and the Holy Roman Empire in what is now the Czech Republic. The accessible area of the game is located in the region between Sasau and Rattay. Other real-world settlements and towns in the game include Ledečko, Mrchojedy, Přibyslavice, Samopše, Sázava Monastery, Stříbrná Skalice, Talmberk, Úžice, and Vraník.
Before the events of the game, the Kingdom of Bohemia was ruled by Charles IV, Holy Roman Emperor, and it experienced a golden age under his reign. After Charles' death, his son, Wenceslaus IV of Bohemia, took up the throne instead of his half-brother Sigismund, King of Hungary and Croatia. Wenceslaus would prove himself to be an idle and useless ruler, and a nuisance to the Bohemian nobility who could not control him. With the help of the Bohemian nobles, Sigismund kidnaps Wenceslaus, forces him to abdicate, and begins a brutal campaign to pillage the Bohemian lands and punish his half-brother's allies. The black jupon is the best one because it lowers your visibility and provides some night time camouflage. Besides that, it is equal to the other jupons in every way

Just wanted to point out, you can have the exact same defensive stats but with better stealthy stats by changing a few items. Like, instead of the Cuffed Combat Jupon and Decorated Black Hose, use Dark Combat Jacket and Tight Black Hose. Other than that, there is no more improvements to make, really.

The riding sabre is a good shout, going to keep my eyes peeled for it in my next playthrough because all I've ever found is the godawful Nicopolis sabre which meant I never spent any time with that kind of sword

Thank you for another awesome video. I appreciate you still making videos about kcd, even tho the release has been a while ago. I would have a suggestion for another armour guide. The German Man-at-Arm: Aachen dyed brigandine (green), German bascinet, Magdeburg pauldrons and chausses as well as the Nuremburg gauntlets. Mail should be best in class and a dark silesian gambeson. The rest is prefference. Using/transporting a polearm would be great, but as you know isn't really possible. Maybe you'll like it and hopefully it's worthy to be in the armour guide. For the record the decorated saber is the best saber in the game with a stab damage of 58 slash damage of 42 defense of 69 and durability of 65 lol

2:02 in this matter you are slightly mistaken because the best saber that can be obtained legally is the Decorated saber. it can be obtained by finding Menchart's grave in one of the quests. (FUN FACT: The best possible saber is the Oriental blade but you can't get it otherwise than with the console)

There is a way to get the decorated sabre other than out of Menhart's grave, last time I had it and I definitely did not loot that. I thought it must've been from a treasure but the KCD Wiki says it can very rarely be found on random high level Cumans, so that's probably where I got it.

I'm not sure exactly why but I prefer using the ravens beak far more over the heavy war hammer. It has less stab but each attack combines all damage types, the slash and stab. Basically every attack has a consistent amount of damage.

You can actually go even higher! The Aachen Brigandine Cuisses + Leather Boots gives you more defence *and* more charisma than Zoul.

Kinda late but plate armor for the legs that also take the boots slot give double their stated numbers. The Zoul Leg Plate in the video, for example, adds 42 leg protection against slashing and stabbing damage instead of the stated 21, making it the absolute best piece of leg protection in the game.

The 19 def Auchen Chausses with Nobleman's Boots is a couple points better than the Zoul leg plates. Quartered combat jacket is less conspicuous and noisy and offers better charisma at the same def stats. Pale and dark yellow decorated arming doublets offer 2 points more charisma than the rest with pale yellow also offering slightly better conspic and noise. That said, for those who favour stealth over charisma (but not at the cost of defense), the turquoise arming doublet and dark combat jacket are the way to go.

That's because most enemies wear armor and swords suck ass against it, since they do no blunt damage. Axes are better in that regard, but are outclassed by maces, which are the best weapon class in the game.

Even after all these patches later I hoped someone would have taken the mod kit and a Bethesda style giant bug squashing mod Game would probably have a fairly large and thriving mod scene if they hadn’t released at the end of its life and instead the mod tools came with it

Yeah, the mod tools should have been released with the game, and should have been far more comprehensive. From the modders i talked to, the tools were too hard to work with, and given the shrunken audience the game had by the time they were released, it wasn't worth the extra work to mod.
