So you're setting it up so holding the skill button then hitting left bumper swaps the skills right? When the skills change the LB on screen isn't lighting up so I just want to be sure.

No, this set up makes it that when you press LB it registers that the skill button is being pressed and through reframework it loads an alternate skill skill preset. so you press RB for the first preset, and LB when you want to use the second preset.

True Warfarer & Alternative Skill Swapper are under moderation on Nexusmods. A shame but seems someone has reported the mod author for breaching terms of service. Guess we'll need to wait and see if the mods get put back up or are gone forever, none of the alternative mods to these are any good.

So if you do this: When holding the dash button LB you get access to 4 more skill slots, but you also cancel/start your dashing at the same time. Is there a way to prevent dashing when pressing LB with this setup?

Honestly I don’t know cause i guess with the skills I use it’s never really been a problem for me.

The best setup I found that works with all vocations is to have first skill menu stay on LB, and then have second skill menu on LT. Stow weapons goes on L3. Everything else remains pretty much the same. Here's how to do it: In steam controller layout change: - Buttons: - - Add subcommand to B button, mapped to keyboard F key (this is so you can still use B to interact with stuff) - Triggers: - - Left Trigger mapped to keyboard Control Key In game: - Controller bindings: - - Examine/Dash > LT - - Set to Examine only > YES - - Dash 2 > B - - Sheathe/Draw/Cancel > L3 - Keyboard: - - Confirm (keyboard) > Remove F bind Now you will be able to hold LT to access the secondary menu, you can still dash and interact with B, but be careful since LT is now also interact. I haven't had any issues with interacting with the wrong thing since combat blocks you from most interactions except item pickup anyways.

how do you et it up without Truewarfarer mods?

You just go to an inn or vocation manager and u set up your core skills in game, and u use the module to edit alternate skills.

should i be playing offline for mods?

No you can play online with these mods, however i dont recommend doing some major stat increase for your main pawn through mods.
