No loyalty you're showing your friend Shawn he's a great lesson to be putting out there. I'm so glad I found your channel so long ago. I'm glad to see you doing different things that you do. I noticed you're not showing your kids lately. In today's world it's not a bad idea to keep him off the videos. But I will say that my wife and me hairballs enjoyed watching them. My wife has said each time how beautiful they are. Seeing you interact with your kids is a positive role model. Or maybe in this world where that does not happen as often generally speaking of course. Just thought you would like to know. 👍

I once knew a guy who was obsessed with the Vega. He'd buy every one he saw, but you never saw him drive any of them. One day he showed up at our farm asking my Dad some mechanical stuff and he was finally driving one....well, sorta. lol He transformed one of the wagons into a miniature El Camino and called it a Vegamino. Even had a nameplate on it. He could tell that I liked it and since he needed my Dad to go to his place, he insisted that I come with him. I saw some of the most fascinating things that day. He had over 20 acres in the middle of nowhere with a big barn in the middle of it and all of it was surrounded by a 15 feet tall fence of sheet metal, basically a sheet metal wall all the way around. Inside the wall was a chain link fence, almost the same height, with electrified barbed wire on the top. He sectioned off 1 acre plots and each plot was stacked with specific cars. Vega, Nova, Monza, Chevette, Gremlin, Pacer, Pinto, Maverick and the Mini Mustang. He had a lot of other cars much older as well, but this is about his Vega obsession. I soon found out that he had a lot of hours behind the wheel of the Vega. He had 2 Vegaminos, the other one was a jacked up 4x4 with a V8 under the hood. It was the biggest little truck I've ever seen. lol 3 different dragsters, 2 road racers and a stretch limo...all Vega. He had a Pintero, which is a Pinto Ranchero and a Pinto 4x4. One of the coolest cars there was a Pacer, built the way it was intended to be....with a Wankel. If you've ever driven a Pacer or ridden in one, you know there was nothing special about them. That rotary engine made a world of difference in performance. Holy cow, that thing was fast!! There were other amazing things there, but they all have stories of their own for another day. Seeing those Vega lumps in your video made me think of him for the second time by watching your content. The first time was the day you got the Chevette you recently crushed. You would like one of them he had, he raced it at Bonneville Flats, it was that fast. Walking into his barn was like a kid going into the Candy Store, you'd want to sample each creation. 👍

It's nice to see somebody demonstrate such great loyalty. You're busy guy and you work harder then anybody I can think of. But yet you're helping out your friend Shawn. I realize it's a two-way street. Picture demonstrating that you realize that it is a two-way street. In this world of people who don't understand this or would not care. It is interesting to see the different things that you do. And I haven't seen any kids on here and sometime. Hope they are doing fine

Fun video, always give you a thumbs up. You are the real deal, no fake drama, just good old crushing and cool cars. Vega’s we’re good cars, but gas prices of the 70’s made them popular for awhile. I thinks they had a combination cast iron and aluminum block parts that didn’t work out to well together. Stay safe. Peace

I bought a used Vega hatchback in 1973 and had a lot of fun with it. But it's aluminum block engine burnt oil like crazy, so much so that I had to drive with a case of engine oil in the back. By the time I dumped the car in 1976, it was burning a quart of oil every 100 miles.

If you ever get a "Chevy Monza Spyder" I'll buy it ... Some like the Vega's & Monza's (same platform ) because the Monza's had a V8 option... I had a 78' Monza Spyder I drove in high school... Love to find one today.. The biggest reason they were junked is because the frames rotted out... I bought a half dozen in my younger days but sold em.. The Vega frames are the same in the wagons & Monza's (I think)

Love that Fiat 128 Panorama (wagon), would sell for $2-3k in Europe if its reasonably together & complete! The 85hp X1/9 engine slots straight in & makes them pretty quick, as they only weigh about 1600lb! I don't know why you don't put stuff like that on ebay, I know people in the US who collects Fiats of that era, it would sell for much more than scrap value.
