I myself do cheer and I showed this to my brother because we doesn’t think it’s that hard and it’s not a sport but cheer has legally been said as the worlds 1 most dangerous sport I’ve been doing cheer since I was 5 I’m now 14 and my brother now understands why I spent most of my time in the backyard practicing

Cheerleaders all seem to be easily offended..... The high school cheerleaders get offended by all star cheerleaders who think they're superior. The all star cheerleaders get offended because what they do is not considered a sport and is not in the Olympics like gymnastics. So it seems they all go around with great big chips on their shoulders.

I think if my kid fractured her back TWICE, I would guide her to something where you aren't so likely to break your neck/spine-- and this kind of cheer is as dangerous as elite level gymnastics. I bet the doctor who said it would be okay didn't realize they were doing the same types of stunts as gymnastics.

@@priyamanobal lol level 4 has harder tumbling than a back tuck. Its like a combo of a full and a tuck, like a full with no twisting (called a whip/layout)

Macey Lee I think I still don’t get how level 4 is elite when cheer goes up to level 6. Wouldn’t elite be the last level you can go up to? Like junior and senior elite in gymnastics.

@@priyamanobal no no no let me breakdown the skills and levels for you Level 1: backwalkovers, frontwalkovers, cartwheels, roundoffs Level 2: roundoff bhs connections, standing bhs, front handspring, front walkover roundoff bhs Level 3: roundoff bhs tuck, roundoff tuck, punch front, jumps to multiple bhs Level 4.2: level 2 tumbling, level 4 stunting (Everything above this is elite) Level 4: roundoff layout, roundoff bhs layout, jumps to tuck, tumbling out of a punch front (There have been some level changed so I'm not quite sure if this is right so I'm just gonna put general stuff) Levels 5,6,7 (not sure about 5, but 6 and 7 are worlds teams): roundoff full, roundoff bhs double/full, standing full, jumps to full So as you can see level 4 is the most elite non worlds team (like I said there were level changes so I'm not sure if that's true but we will say it is). She might also be talking about elite as in all-star. There are usually a few different programs you can sign up for when your doing cheer, I'm just going to talk about prep and all-star. Prep is less money, less of a commitment, less competitions, etc. More for athletes that maybe are stressed about school or do another sport but are still dedicated to cheer. All-star is much more expensive, much more time consuming, and you travel out of state a lot for comps. Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure you can have, say an all-star level 3 team, or a prep level 4 team. Some gyms call prep and all-star different names. For example my gym calls prep elevate. So her gym might call all-star elite. So she might be on an elite (allstar) level 4 team. Does that make sense? Lol

That happens to people everyday! EVERY SINGLE DAY, EVERYWHERE, ALL OVER THE WORLD, people get told that. And she's how old? What she said sounds like something a little child would say! She certainly must've lived a freaking sheltered life up until that point!
