Why not fortify your defense with a back 4 and lower back line since the midfield is a disaster that really can’t be fixed properly at the moment? But he refuses. I could go on - The lack of focus and poor confidence seems to be spreading throughout the whole team like cancer as it’s a comedy of errors each game. I watch Jack and other midfielders not tracking back while the defenders (not Ake today) make mistake after mistake after mistake. It’s like they’ve all reverted to playing with the understanding of a group of 12 year olds. Again, a comedy of errors Until Pep wakes up and makes some actual adaptive tactical changes, I think we see more of the same. Fortifying the defense is the easiest and most obviously thing to do, and every game he doesn’t do it, makes me think he’s refusing to die to arrogance and hubris which I hope isn’t that case, but what else am I supposed to think?

Nobody could have seen an ACL injury coming but Rodri was already complaining about too many games and tiredness previously, although he had just had some rest.bTiredness is a big contributing factor to players picking up injuries either through the body just giving up or a poor choice in a tackle or something similar on the pitch. Many fans wanted a backup and the recruitment wasn't great. Personally I liked the idea of Ilkay returning and I still like him but he's only a 10 to 15 mins at the end of a game player these days and he's playing too much. The same with some of the kids. They are more than capable of helping the team but they can't carry them through this tough patch.

What I have learnt from what Pep and City going through currently is that, as human never be carry away when you are successful, wait until when you are in crises, when you in difficulties, when you facing challenges that is when you know how humans will show to you who they are, during these periods you will have some will come pretending they are sympathising with you, but deep inside them they are happy seeing you going through that. People forget life is full of ups and downs, when you are doing well they find it hard to talk about it, but ones you are struggling, they start to be loud about your struggle. See I just laugh 😆. Mankind is a funny creature.
