@@hvideos_1 Yes, but the problem was evident last game. Sean, Big Joe and Bruno all looked leggy in midfield. That's why Tonali and Willock came in to bring some energy. I will confront the elephant in the room, Bruno is not clicking... I would definitely put Joe in place of Bruno. Look at the goals this season, all didn't start off from Bruno like last year. Maybe Bruno needs Tripps to bring the ball up field which Tino is not doing because he is staying back. The whole left side is not pushing up which was our style.

I don't think this is as catastrophic as it looks. Isak hasn't been firing on all cylinders, he works best when his position is threatened. Gordon can't take up all the slack, the only solution is Osula. Let the lad come on for the Wimbledon match. He puts up a good fight, when Isaks fit, he'll get back to his shining best imo

The fact we never even seemed to act like we wanted to sell Wilson is what gets me... I like Wilson cause, when healthy, he scores goals... But he's never healthy and everyone knows that. Maybe no one wanted him but I just feel Howe didn't want to sell him and that's why he's collecting a check putting in less work than Gillespie... Not fit for purpose... I honestly think Osula will be as ready as he can be at the moment to start. I can tell he's ready for a chance, but how good will he be? Who knows... I say we give him a go and if its bad news at halftime make the same changes Howe made at half of Wolves.... However, Barnes and Gordon should be starting Saturday so not quite the exact same changes... Because of the recent success we've had at Fulham I was wary about this match considering how we have played but have been getting away with it... Now without Isak I'm not too Keen on a win. I still have faith they certainly can win even without Isak but my god these guys need to start playing better for me to be confident about it...

Tripps. Schar. Burn. Kelly. Tonali. Bruno. Willock. Gordon. Osula. Barnes. I'd be happy to see us give this a shot. I dont mind if it's Hall or Kelly at LB. Might miss big Joe's physicality, but he's been quite sloppy in the last few matches, and Willock has been a real threat carrying the ball forward. Who knows with Osula? Looked decent and quick against Brest, but it's hard to judge if we never see him play.

I think the best team for fulham would be joelington through the middle with Barnes and Gordon either side. With willock coming into that midfield he deserves to start after his wolves performance. I wouldn't be surprised if Isak is somehow fit though.

@@althr321 Maybe. I don’t think anyone who isn’t involved really knows. Eddie, quite rightly in my book, didn’t want to weaken a weak squad by selling players unless he had a replacement. The sense in that seen by having Krafth available to cover for Schar - and what a great job he did. I don’t think the money we could have got for Wilson would have been enough for a quality replacement. There aren’t many available and they come with a hefty price tag.

He cant add depth if he’s out injured most of the season. It would have been better to sell even if it was some small change that might make a difference with psr in the future. Trippier on the other hand, for example, I would keep regardless since you can count on him to be available for selection.

Barnes is good, arguably too good not to play but Gordon is head and shoulders a better, more effective player for the team. If Barnes continues to score at the goals per minute played that he has done this season I may reconsider, but if you ask any defender who they would hate to play 90 minutes against, Gordon is a no brainier.
