I think this has the most potential out of all of the Absolute titles so far. I’m interested in the Krypton stuff, but mainly just excited to see this Superman that seems like he’s starting out as a nomad.

That's a good point. It feels a bit like we are seeing from near the beginning of his superhero journey, which is very cool.

I like that Kal-El encountered Lois Lane before he was able to save her life from the Lazarus Corps and that they were able to save the people of Brazil. I also like that we get to see Lois write about a report about Superman, including his debut and power set. I even like that we get to we get to see a flashback of him virtually attending class (where he used his own handwriting instead of generative text to submit a report) and another flashback of his parents testing something while he spends time with Krypto. Overall, this comic is great!

I'm enjoying it too. I like the fact that it's a seperate universe like the old Elseworlds comics.

Gray I profoundly disagree on this issue. Several panels looks like bad AI renderings. While the underlying story isn't bad and some of the layout schema work, the actual depictions (faces, motion, physiology/scale) of Superman and not-Lois are atrocious. Most of the linework in the issue is lesser quality than most of the MyFundComic projects I back. To me, the 'Absolute' runs have been a squandered, B-team quality disappointment, with Superman being the least quality across the board. That said, I am glad you enjoyed it.

I like that we are seeing Kal-El from what appears to be the near beginning of his super journey. He is still discovering just what he can do and what his powers are. I like the banter between him and Lois. And Sol is a cool addition in my opinion. I hear what you are saying about the art. It looks very digital at times. I can't tell if it's the colouring that's giving it that effect..?
