2:00 Odd , you should really play the Su-122-54, it has a rangefinder and a 400mm penetrating HEAT, it excels at long ranges where most opponents at your BR will struggle to penetrate your frontal armor, and you got 2 14.5mm's for anti air and anti m56 purposes. It also has very good optics, commander have access to x10 zoom.

Yeah the 122-54 is much under-appreciated and overlooked because the T-54s all sit in the same BR area. There really aren’t many complaints you can have that aren’t caused by being a casemate

IRL, this badboy was intended to work with the T29- the T29 would engage tanks, the T30 would obliterate fortifications. BUT, a APCR round was made to give it a fighting chance against other tanks. The Tungsten that would be used to make just one of those APCR rounds would be that which would be used for 3 US 76 APCR rounds!

About spawn protection... I'm pretty sure once you move a certain distance it disappears. Or maybe moving uses up protection time. Anyway, to use it longee, don't move at all. Useful to know when they're in your spawn, bring a fast reloader and get some kills before you inevitably die anyway.

the best bit of the SU-122-54 is the fact it has a KPVT 14.5mm MG on the roof. the thing DELETES planes. it gets HEATFS, optical rangefinder and the normal 122mm goodies. its very strong but not the best armor.

Im gonna have to vote for the SU-122-54. If the reload being ~15 seconds and having a rangefinder weren't enough of a bonus, the coaxial and roof mounted 14.5s can eat cannon barrels faster than most SPAAs do in its BR range.

I would love to see the SU-122-54, if it's still a possibility! It gets the lowest BR version of the -D ballistic capped shell, if I remember correctly, as well as two 14.5mm MGs to fend off light attackers and planes! It's the only reason that I still play 6.7 Russia :)

The biggest APHE in terms of explosivr filler is the german 12.8 cm APCBC, but still, 640g of TNT is brutal.
