Nice seeing the Willamette NF, never camped there yet. I pretty much take my rain gear by default, but I car camp/backpack. Fun little summer camp trip, I enjoyed going along! And LOL @ the wife's secret hot sauce stash

I almost always have a rain jacket stashed somewhere too…I was caught off guard by this one 😅 we drove down I 5 right before a small tornado passed over on this trip… And I am now dedicated to discovering all of the hot sauces

You guys are such relaxed and normal people compared to my fellow metropolitan Southern California whackos ( I'd have to admit to being one, too). People around here are so anxiety-ridden and frustrated they shoot each other on the freeway, or in public parks, and the local media just report it as if they're talking about a new fast food joint opening up somewhere nearby. Can't wait to get the 'F' outahere and get me some Oregonian Chill.
