They used to be secular within Tumblr, but since Twitter is a more public space, their loud rambling gets picked up more often and seen more often. Which of course goes hand in hand with the whole skewing of perception of actual reality, because actual reality isn't that crazy. People are generally decent. But the tumblr refugees sure do make a lot of noise and they sure are entertaining to look at, and they sure make humanity seem kind of crazy.

I remember being on Tumblr and everyone was roasting that ballpit lmao. Also, that is what happened- the p0rn ban did have benefits because most of the deranged people went to Twitter. Compared to before, it's been a lot chiller on Tumblr where most people would rather mind their own business. There's sort of an inside joke on Tumblr to come off as really cringe to deter most people (like twitter goblins) from coming in lol. I don't go on that much as compared to before, but I've come across a lot less MRA/anti-feminist misogynists and nazis if I do at all.

That is the opposite. There were a lot more radical women's rights and feminist misandrists than the other groups you mentioned on tumblr. They were pioneers that created that whole anti men movement online and in real life, which eventually made them being seen as jokes, and not a good one. And oh let's the forget the people who claimed to be "anti fascist and nazi" when ironically enough are the fascists thensleves. There were some on tumblr but exploded on Twitter.

The EH video was a banger, don't get me wrong, but the Sarah Z's video is made with more sympathy towards attendees who got roped into this and those who got screwed over by the management, and, frankly, a lot more info given the length.
