Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a guest of an aristocratic family in Paris, whose offspring studied harp and flute. Mozart was asked to compose something for them and he took this pearl out of his inspiration. In the hands of the Genius, even a commissioned work can become a masterpiece.

This is Mozart at his extreme finest. It has often fascinated me that my favorite Mozart pieces were for the orchestra and two soloists: Piano concerto 10, violin and viola concertante. Only a genius could pair off such competing instrumentalities in such a fascinating composition.
@trevjr Жыл бұрын
You are right, I have always loved this concerto and forgot about the concertante even though I play viola! Such a great work. Maybe it is because only the masters could combine the instruments. I love the Brahms double, Beethoven triple and Bach double and Bach concerto for oboe and violin.

Flute Mozart is God Music. Absolutely the amazing performance. Moreover, Divine and haven in each line of flute music Mozart creatively, is always inspiring into the heart and soul of humanity. Nevertheless, with happiness, inspiring, enjoyable, reunion, separation, distressing, dividing, hurting, sorrow and hopeless... Consequently, it appears echoed into each line of musicals and emotional...
Amazing, the flute playing is universe class. My favorite Mozart, I could just transcend to heaven in the slow movement. I think they used it in Amadeus IIRC.

Fabiola Gaucher Well I was really nervous because I’ve been slacking off on this piece to concentrate on etudes and other pieces.My exam material was really consistent anyway and I played for more than 30 minutes.I calmed myself down, started practicing efficiently and when the day came I just conditioned my brain into thinking that even if I mess up something the most important thing is to pick it up right from where I left and not panic.I left out some notes, I messed up some rhythmic formulas but after all, I never stopped and this was also my last piece so the professors knew I was getting tired and that’s why they gave me a 10.I forgot to mention I am 15, and in a high school, not college, that’s probably why the professors went so easy on me.

When Pahud joined the Berlin Philharmonic he was the youngest member in the orchestra's history. Consequently, he became known as a sort of prodigy even within the orchestra (which is slightly ironic, given the musicians of the Berlin Phil. are among the best in the world). Players in the Berlin Phil, especially wind players (as in the case of these two horn players) were especially jealous (in a friendly, playful way) of Pahud's talent. I believe this is why they were laughing when Pahud played an especially challenging passage.

The 22-year-old Mozart was enjoying life in Paris, where his 'Paris' symphony, violin sonatas and this work made him pretty well known. However, that didn't sit too well with daddy Leopold, who complained that Wolfgang was always too nice to new 'friends' and ending up getting the short end of the stick in terms of landing a permanent job and making more money in Paris. He successfully coerced Wolfgang to move back to Salzburg by giving him a whole guilt trip about him and Nannerl becoming beggars if Wolfy didn't move back to help support them financially (Then there's also the problem with the "not too bright" Webers but we won't go there!)
