Really love this set!! Just gorgeous! I have NEVER accepted money for doing a review. I agree with you wholeheartedly...I think that if you’re giving your hard work to anyone, you should be compensated accordingly. I also agree with you about Naio. I order from them monthly and love them completely! I have yet to use a product of theirs that I dislike. I completely agree with you, I don't have a problem with KZbinrs getting paid for reviews, provided they make their viewers aware in the video. I don't think you should give them any raw footage as they could easily manipulate and edit it to say what they want the viewers to hear rather than what you actually said, like you suggested doing a separate video for them would probably be okay, but I personally would be worried about how they would use the footage, it's a tricky situation.. I watch your video's because I enjoy watching you create designs, and know that your reviews and opinions are honest, I've learnt a lot from watching you and other KZbinrs like you so thanks for all the hard work you put in, I love the nails you have on at the moment, I wouldn't want to take them off either! I agree with your decision 100%. I personally don't think that if you receive free product you should charge to do a video. But I would never give anyone my files. I used to do photography. That's the same as a gallery asking me to remove my watermark so they can display my work. Um, no that's not how this works. I agree completely with you! I think that if you are doing all the work on the nails and the video it is YOUR property! If they want to pay you for the video sure, they can use it for advertising. It costs thousands of dollars to make a 30 second commercial or do a photo shoot so yeah, you should get paid for that. I do NOT like it when I watch a review and they are obviously struggling with the product and telling me it's great or they wait for the end of the video to say that it was sponsored by the company and here I went and ordered the stuff while watching. I feel like I was deceived and I don't know what the quality of the stuff I ordered is going to be!

I agree with everything you said! If you accept money, how can you be objective and unbiased? A company paying an influencer is just paying them for a good review! Love the nails! Top coat makes such a difference! Unfortunately, they can probably use your video anyway. When you sign up with Instagram, Pintrest, Twitter and many others, it's right in the Terms and Conditions that once you upload something it belongs to them. They can sell it for ads, they can use it themselves but they end up making the money on it. Since most people don't read the T & C before they click "Join", which they are counting on, there's not a thing anyone can do about it. Definitely not fair.

This is why I adore you and your channel cause you are honest and so talented that’s so hard to find now cause so many people will lie like crazy and we will buy something and it will be shit omg when I watched makeup videos on here cause I’ve always wanted to be a makeup artist and a nail artist and my daughter also wants to be well I went and spent a good amount of money on two eyeshadow pallets one for me one for my daughter they were the same one I’ve never ever used high end makeup before and honestly cried all the way home knowing i spent what I spent cause i could have went to Walmart and got their amazing profusion pallets and got and got me ans my daughter.both all the 5 dollars ones and three of the. 13 dollar pallets as well and they are amazing the pigment the colors omg just gorgeous well instead I listened to this person ans bought us the eyeshadow pallets and four of the lip glosses I broke out nails bad from the lip products my daughter did too it was suppose to be a plumper well it burned it burned so bad that my lips swelled up ans I had blisters all around my lips like it literally looked like I had a shit ton of herpes or like a burnt my lips from a damn crack pipe lmmfao my daughters done it as well but not as bad as mine it honestly looked like I put twenty tubes of fucking sunblock on my body then wore a pair of joggers and and hoody to not get sun burned but forgot to put sunblock on and around my lips it looked like I flew up ans kissed the damn sun okay and it felt like it as well lmmfao omg the pain I was I was in for 9 weeks was so miserable it honestly looked like I went and had a chemical peel on my lips and around my lips it was bad i was in antibiotics for 18 weeks cause of that crap then the eyeshadows didn’t show up good at all no matter how much you would dig into the color or put like. White all over the lid crease and brow bone area my eyes swelled shut I washed the make up off my face and my eye were swelled shut like if you get an eye infection and you have the swelling ans the nasty thick stuff coming out of your eye that lasted for six weeks I cried so hard every day and not just cause of the horrible pain but because I wasted so much money on that stuff ans the tiny amount of makeup me and my daughter did have we had to throw it all away even the brush set and stuff so i ended up with dr bills going to the sr weekly for those 18 weeks and antibiotics do not do to well with us females once u have been in them for a while it causes other issues so hospital bills for both of us we visits the cost of the pallets and lip glosses and having to throw away all of our makeup we had that pallet ans lip shit cost me around 90,000 dollars total and I’m still paying on it like I stopped trusting all makeup youtubers and i unsubscribed to every single one of them it’s I had Botox or lip injections and an eye lift and it was botched being someone who’s always had no confidence in them selves and thinking horrible things about them selves all the time then being the nicest person you could meet I love everyone lol that’s just my personality I was in a horrible depression up until about 6 or 7 months ago cause of that crap I’m actually just now fully recovered from it which is so awesome but I’m so so glad that you are so honest cause These KZbinrs that lie for money and lie their asses off to get free shit they don’t understand what that product could do to someone else and mess someone else up now around my top lip I have horrible disgusting discoloration it looks like I have a mustache a little till u get closer and see that it’s actually basically one big dark scar having no self esteem already this really did no good for me but I’m working on all that ans now I’m going to chase my dream to do nails and help my daughter become a nail artist and open her her own shop one day so once I find another job I will start buying her and I things we need but mostly her I couldn’t make my dreams come truw so I will do whatever I can to make my kids dreams come true.... ommfg I am so sorry this comment was so long I didn’t even realize it either u can tell the situation still bothers me bad lol

As always, love the nails! As long as I know that the Presenter was paid I don’t mind. I’ll be a little harder on the product since the company is paying money, but I’ll give it a chance. If I find out later, from a different source, that a Presenter was paid by the company I tend to lose respect for the Presenter and am very suspicious of the company.

Thank you it gives me a lot to think about, would you mind if I copy a few of your lush nails for my clients, please Nikki darling if you do mind, you have my word I wont copy them ok? Regarding that other business, I would have nothing whatsoever to do with a company that asks, in effect, for you to give them designs to demo or show to people that says '' look how good our product is '' and you get no reward, money wise or any recognition for the part you had in it. Mandi my daughter, is a professional crafter, and a very well known large company requested the same to her as has been said to you, she trusted them but she was ripped off big time, however they didn't Mandi is also a lawyer hm! their plan failed, so take my advice and reject their products and have nothing to do with them. That's my opinion sweetie for what its worth, I hope it helps in some way. Thanks Nikki for always showing us such beautiful and incredible nail designs. I don’t usually join in on payment debates but, I’m really surprised that you don’t charge for your time! If you have made an order or you’re choosing to do a video from your own free will then this wouldn’t apply but, I’d ping over my own set of T’s + C’s stating I charge £X which pays for my time. This fee covers all filming, editing and uploading costs. This fee does not guarantee a positive review nor does it guarantee future mentions, recommendations or promotions. My review and content will remain unbiased and be a true reflection of my own personal experience of your company, service and products. At the end of the day, it is your time! You are well within your rights to charge a fee for your time and having your own T’s + C’s makes it very clear to any supplier or business that you will only provide an honest and truthful review - good or bad! There’s thousands of people out there making money from KZbin! I do think you can tell the fakers though! You know when someone genuinely likes a product and when they’ve been scripted and paid. I think a time fee is perfectly fine for all you tubers as long as it’s extremely clear your content is not influenced by and it does not pay for the actual content x
