Before applying top coat, go over the nails with a fine grit / buffer to remove the hard file lines. Start with hard file, then use fine file, then top coat. Hard file lines can show through the top coat, one small step.

I think you should still tell people that you taught yourself off KZbin & that after 13 years, you took the closer to become licensed. Imo, that is a great accomplishment!! I think the color looks fine for your natural fingers it could be a little paler though because like you said you're very light skin as am I. My whole life I'm a natural blond white eyebrows white eyelashes I've hated that all my life. But I'm 63 I've never had to color my hair!
