Are absorption coefficient and absorbance related? If yes then how?

Hi! If you are using a Uv-Vis and you wanna calculate the total absorbance, you can use Beer-Lambert law. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beer%E2%80%93Lambert_law#:~:text=The%20Beer%E2%80%93Lambert%20law%2C%20also,which%20the%20light%20is%20travelling. Best regards!
