Abstract 3d Ring Creation using the Autodesk MAYA Mash Plugin (Silent Tutorial)

This is a Silent (No narration) Maya version of the awesome tutorial done by Dave from CG Shortcuts (Original C4d Tutorial on the link below (head over there for cool and really well done Cinema 4d tutorials).
There's just one Mel Script i have used to automate animation over time. Very simple mel script! Sorry I have no mic yet... Please let me know what you think! :)

Beautiful job, congrats! Is it possible to make it loop seamlessly? I have tried similar things but there was always a jump at the end.

Thank you so much, Zsolt. In this instance, because the animation is on the main mesh and not on MASH itself, I just used an expression which loops automatically based on the keyframe thus I can even controll the speed of the spin in a much easier way. If you are using curves then I suggest keeping the curve linear and looping the animation in the graph editor under the Curves/Post Infinity/Linear. Otherwise, if your animation comes from the MASH node then you can add a "time" node that has a loop function setting in it. I hope this helps...

The expression is meant to be on the cylinder's Y axis only, where have you put it? Remember not to delete history when trying this method, it depends on history staying as is
